A Lazy New Year's Day...

The boys didn't have school on Monday, so it was one of those lazy days...
Jack worked on putting dates on his new calendar.

He read a book for a bit...

He also did some crafting...
Sam, on the other hand, did some building.  He received the "Diagon Alley" Harry Potter Lego set for Christmas and decided to work on putting together the three different buildings or shops.  In this photo, he is working on the second store.  The third store is the pile of lego baggies.

I think there was about 10 different baggies for the third building.

Poor kid...it took about five minutes to find the correct piece due to most of them being white legos.  He finally said, "I can't do this."

After dinner, Jack and I became his organizers!  I did the little pieces...

And Jack did the bigger building pieces...it worked out well for all!

Sam would "order" a specific Lego and Jack would get it for him.

As Jack always says, "Good things happen when you do good things!"  I guess the "good" thing was that Sam finished his bank building and Jack loved creating Lego adventures with Sam!
